🚀 Let’s go for the adventure!
Today is the official start of this adventure!
If you still don’t know which difficulty level to choose, this day will help you find your place and understand where you feel most comfortable.
There is only one track until the first challenge: it’s green, so the easiest one—so easy that for now it will be almost all tarmac! Yep, adventure riding isn’t only off-road!
Once you’ve cleared this first challenge, you’ll have three possible tracks to reach the finish. And since today is the Warm Up, we’re super nice: we give you the tracks directly…
🧭 PROLOGUE — WELCOME TO THE REAL TROPHY
This is how it should have started…
But a Trophy without the unexpected isn’t a Trophy.
And that obviously applies to you… but also to us.
📅 January 28, 2026 — Plan change
On January 28, 2026, I learned that the local authorities changed their minds
👉 No more permission to set up tents facing Paradise, even though—as you can see—everything is ready!
No big deal:
Action.
Reaction.
Adaptation.
🛏️ No bivouac tonight
Tonight, no bivouac for you.
So I kicked all my staff out 😅
➡️ You now have 43 beds available here to sleep.
Yeah…
I know.
You are 78.
🔥 The Trophy starts earlier than planned
So there are still 35 people to fit in.
And for those 35, the Trophy doesn’t start tomorrow.
👉 It starts tonight.
🌙 NIGHT DEPARTURE — FROM 10:00 PM (AFTER DINNER)
From 10:00 PM,
35 of you will have to grab your courage with both hands
and head into the Moroccan night!
Two options are available to you:
🛣️ Route Option – Red Level
🔒 J0 T0R.gpx — GPX for participants only
Yes it’s only road, we agree… but 50 km of Moroccan mountain roads at night!
It’s not Green even if it’s 100% paved!
50 km of mountain road
➕ Bonus points at stake that will count for Day 1
⚫ Black Track Option
About 30 km
🔒 J0 T0N.gpx — GPX for participants only
Shorter… but clearly not easier. And of course: bonus points for Day 1!
Nothing extreme, but riding at night on isolated mountain tracks is no small thing…
That’s why I rated it Black!
And for the next day, it’s the added distance that makes it Black!
⚠️ IMPORTANT INFO — DAY 1 START
⚠️ Warning
Only the people sleeping at Paradise will be able to start Day 1 on a GREEN track.
⏱️ QUICK DECISION
Come on…
You need to decide now.
The Trophy won’t wait for you 😉
🎯 Choose comfort… or choose adventure right from the start!
You must report as quickly as possible to the Race HQ to declare where you want to sleep!
If you’re not fast enough and there are no spots left where you wanted… too bad for you—you’ll have to go to the other option…
🧮 SCORING — J0
Because a Trophy without stress…
isn’t really a Trophy.
🏁 🔒 J0 T0R.gpx — GPX for participants only
💰 Maximum value: 500 points
But to put a little pressure on you:
🥇 1st registered at Race HQ → 500 points
⬇️ Each following rider loses 5 points per registration position
📉 The longer you wait, the more you lose.
🌙 🔒 J0 T0N.gpx — GPX for participants only
💰 Maximum value: 1000 points
Same rule…
double pressure 😈
🥇 1st registered at Race HQ → 1000 points
⬇️ Each following rider loses 10 points per registration position
📉 Here, hesitation is expensive.
🎯 Trophy Reminder
Think fast.
Decide right.
Own your choice.
🎯 Welcome to the Trophy.
The real one.
⛽ Important Reminder — Fuel management
Throughout the entire Trophy, fuel management is entirely YOUR responsibility.
👉 This is part of the game, and a key element of your traveler strategy.
You must constantly anticipate:
your fuel consumption,
the length of the tracks,
your engagement level (💚/❤️/🦄),
your safety margin,
unexpected terrain issues.
➡️ No fuel assistance is guaranteed between bivouacs.
If, exceptionally, a bivouac has fuel even though it is NOT supposed to,
👉 I will clearly tell you during the daily briefing.
Yes, I’m teasing you…
😈 But not to the point of letting a rider end the day pushing their bike through dunes.
(well… depends 🤭)
🦺 SAFETY REMINDER
🧭 BE A GOOD TRAVELER
Means putting safety first!
We are vulnerable on a motorcycle—never forget it.
We ride in public spaces that can be hostile, where anything can happen!
So you are the first person responsible for your own safety!
👥 RIDING IN A GROUP
👉 It is always safer to ride with others.
But if you choose to ride alone, make sure you have the skills to handle unexpected situations—and above all be aware that in case of a serious crash… you will be alone.
⚠️ Beware of the group effect:
It can be extremely positive to push you upward,
but it can also become a real danger…
➡️ If you’re riding with friends and there’s something you don’t want to do,
have the strength to say NO.
It’s hard, but knowing when to stop can save your day.
🏁 MANAGE YOUR LEVEL
Remember that several difficulty levels are available!
You are absolutely not forced to do anything.
Every meter you ride must be your own decision,
and you must be able to give up if you don’t feel capable. That’s a golden rule: nothing we offer is mandatory!
You can totally reach the next bivouac only by road—make your own decisions as an awake traveler!
🎯 Level reminder:
💚 Green Level: a true beginner level, accessible to everyone, even without much experience. Off-road gradients are not steeper than what you find on the road and tracks are mostly rideable!
It is made of at least 50% road, and the off-road sections are the easiest tracks we could find.
❤️ Red Level: the intermediate level, matching what you most often find when traveling by motorcycle around the world.
Nothing extreme, but you need to earn it: often the most beautiful tracks to reach the most beautiful places on Earth.
“It’s earned access to the most beautiful places on our planet.” 🌍
🦄 Black Level: the hardest level you can encounter while traveling.
A track can be “black” for several reasons:
its technicality,
how intimidating/vertigo-inducing it is,
or simply because of its length.
Today, the track is black because of its length: nothing extreme, but long and demanding.
I also specify that if you commit to Black, you are supposed to be autonomous—so if you call for mechanical assistance it may take a long time because you’ll be helped after Greens, then after Reds!
Keep in mind that access for emergency services is also more difficult on the Black route.
💡 THE GOLDEN RULE OF THE TRAVELER
👉 Knowing not to do something can be a great quality.
And never forget to ride responsibly!
🌍🏍️
That’s the foundation of the true responsible traveler:
Always put safety first.
🏆 REMINDER — HOW THE RANKING WORKS
The principle of a day is simple:
No challenge or track is mandatory! It’s up to you to choose whether or not to do what the Trophy offers, depending on your skills, fatigue, etc…
The goal remains to bring back as many points as possible!
👉 Whoever brings back the most points wins the day.
⚠️ Don’t confuse the daily ranking with the overall ranking:
The winner of the day scores 1 point in the overall ranking.
Second scores 2 points,
third scores 3 points,
and so on…
After 7 days, whoever has the LOWEST total points wins overall!
🎯 The perfect score is therefore 7 points (a win every day).
This system avoids huge gaps and keeps suspense until the end.
Every day counts, and nothing is ever decided in advance! 💪
Note: your safety—just like the evaluation of your traveler skills through the challenges—will be ensured via the satellite and GPRS trackers we provided at the start!
You are responsible for installing them and keeping them charged!
Take care of them: it’s essential for your safety and your points!
No battery… no points…

⚠️ Penalty points
If the Trophy organization intervenes—either at your request or out of necessity for your safety—you will receive 100 penalty points in the overall ranking.
Why?
In real motorcycle travel, there is no organization behind you.
A traveler must manage alone, and that autonomy is what we want to reward.
👉 Mechanical case:
You have a problem → you manage by yourself, with other riders, or in a local garage
→ No issue.
But if you call the organization and without our intervention you cannot continue, then:
→ 100 penalty points in the overall ranking.
👉 Medical case:
⚠️ Important: use common sense.
Never hesitate to call the medical team if needed.
Do not put your health at risk to avoid a penalty.
But in real life, nobody follows you with a medical vehicle → so here too:
→ 100 penalty points in the overall ranking if medical intervention is necessary.
A good traveler does everything possible to avoid injury—the consequences would be too serious…
GPRS tracker not charged
Without a tracker → we cannot evaluate you → you score no points, which naturally impacts your daily ranking.
(So no 100 points here: the score simply drops automatically.)
🎁 Point donation
If a rider helps you during the day (mechanics, navigation, strapping, etc.),
you have the option to propose giving them part of your daily points.
Procedure
Within 1 hour after your arrival, you can submit a sheet stating:
How many points you want to give
To whom
Why
Race Direction reserves the right to accept or refuse this donation depending on relevance.
📄 🎁 FEUILLE DE DON DE POINTS — TROPHY
The sheet must be submitted maximum 1 hour after the daily riding finish time.
📢 Complaint
Any complaint must be filed within 1 hour after the publication of the daily and overall rankings,
on the dedicated complaint sheet, and following the procedure.
Always record your track: it will be solid proof in case of complaint!

📘 NOMENCLATURE — TRACKS & WAYPOINTS
To make navigation and roadbook reading easier, a simple and uniform naming system is used throughout the Trophy.
🧭 Naming TRACKS
During the Trophy, you may encounter tracks of different lengths, offered according to different difficulty levels.
The nomenclature is:
J → Day
T → Track
Color → Difficulty level
V = Green
R = Red
N = Black
👉 Format:
J + day number / T + track number / color initial
📍 Example:
J1 T1V
→ Day 1, Track #1, Green level
All tracks of each day will follow exactly this logic.
📍 Naming WAYPOINTS (WP)
Waypoints to validate also follow a strict naming system.
J → Day
WP → Waypoint
Color → Difficulty level
V = Green
R = Red
N = Black
Number → Waypoint number
👉 Format:
J + day number / WP / color initial / WP number
📍 Example:
J1 WPR3
→ Day 1, Red Waypoint #3
(No need to look for it… it doesn’t exist 😄)
🧠 To remember
The nomenclature is identical all week
It makes navigation, validation and communication with the organization easier
If in doubt, always refer to the full file name or WP name
There can be days with only tracks, or only WPs, and also days with both!
📡 Track validation — How does it work?
How will we know if you validated the track(s) you chose?
👉 Thanks to the GPS and GPRS trackers.
We have hidden:
3 WPs on the Green track
3 WPs on the Red track
3 WPs on the Black track
You cannot know where they are, so you must follow your track carefully if you want to be sure to validate all points.
⚠️ Warning:
If you miss even one, you will not score the points for that track.
🎯 WP validation distance
For each color, the validation radius is different:
💚 Green WP
WPs set with a 200 m radius
👉 You must not deviate more than 200 m from the track.
❤️ Red WP
WPs with a 100 m radius
👉 You must not deviate more than 100 m from the track.
🦄 Black WP
WPs with a 40 m radius
👉 You must never be more than 40 m from the track.
🧭 Tracks of the day
💚 Green: 🔒 J1 T2R.gpx — GPX for participants only → 250 pts / 🔒 J1 T2V.gpx — GPX for participants only → 250 pts
❤️ Red: 🔒 J1 T1R.gpx — GPX for participants only → 500 pts 🔒 J1 T2R.gpx — GPX for participants only → 500 pts
🦄 Black: 🔒 J1 T1N.gpx — GPX for participants only → 1000 pts 🔒 J1 T2N.gpx — GPX for participants only → 1000 pts 🔒 J1 T3N.gpx — GPX for participants only → 1000 pts
Let me stress again: if you commit to Black, it means you self-assessed as competent for motorcycle travel in hostile environments, so you are expected to be autonomous. If you call for mechanical assistance, it is normal that you will be last :-) so it can take a long time because you’ll be helped after Greens, then after Reds!
Other clarification!
You can only validate J1 T2N if you have already validated J1 T1N, and you can only validate J1 T3N if you validated J1 T2N…
Good luck!
🧩 Challenges of the day
🏍️ Challenge #1 – “Endurance”
📌 Location
📍 30.41651 / -8.70908
🕗 Opening time
8:00 AM – 12:30 PM
📝 Challenge description
This is a course of several kilometers, which you can ride as many times as you want.
👉 Each lap completed earns you points.
👉 You can change color (Green / Red / Black) between laps.
🎯 What you must do
Show up at the start gate
Declare to the marshal which track color you choose for this lap
Start on the marshal’s signal
🏆 Scoring — Double validation
The challenge has two validation systems:
1️⃣ Marshal declaration
Before each start, you must:
announce the color you will ride
the marshal records this choice on a dedicated scoring sheet
2️⃣ GPS validation (anti-cheating)
To prevent smart guys 😄, a WP (waypoint) is hidden on each route.
👉 This WP activates each lap completed, as long as you respect the validation radiuses.
⚠️ IMPORTANT RULE
If the number of laps declared to the marshal does not match the number of WPs validated, then:
❌ You lose all points for this challenge.
No exceptions.
Scoring:
💚 EP1 Green: 🔒 J1 EP1V.gpx — GPX for participants only → 50 pts per lap
❤️ EP1 Red: 🔒 J1 EP1R.gpx — GPX for participants only → 150 pts per lap
🦄 EP1 Black: 🔒 J1 EP1N.gpx — GPX for participants only → 300 pts per lap
🔧 Challenge #2 – “Balance”
Description: Slow riding challenge
📍 Coordinates: 30.56614 / -7.94857
🕗 Opening time
2:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Here, we’re not looking for speed,
or power,
or show.
👉 We’re looking for your balance.
Balance is an essential skill in motorcycle travel,
and even more when riding heavy, loaded adventure bikes, far from everything.
At low speed, in technical passages,
in tight U-turns,
on unstable or tricky ground,
it’s not the engine that makes the difference…
👉 it’s you.
This challenge is here to test:
your body control,
your inertia management,
your ability to stay stable without forcing,
and your clarity when everything happens at very low speed.
Here, every move counts.
Every loss of balance has a price.
Every unnecessary correction drains you.
It’s not a spectacular challenge.
It’s a fundamental one.
👉 Because when traveling,
the one who masters balance
masters their bike…
and above all, preserves themselves over time.
Scoring:
💚 Green Level: 250 points
Straight line course of about 20 meters
You must complete it in more than 30 seconds
❤️ Red Level: 500 points
Straight line course of about 10 meters
You must complete it in more than 30 seconds
🦄 Black Level: 1000 points
Straight line course of 5 meters
You must complete it in more than 30 seconds
⏱️ Timing
The stopwatch starts when the front wheel axle enters the zone
It stops when the front wheel axle exits the zone
❌ Penalty
Any foot touching the ground automatically results in a score of 0
GOOD LUCK
